Gone
My intentions were good. I have a large number of things to write about, but no computer to write them with. Mine is gone. I’m sorry to say that gone with it are four years of college papers, several pages worth of poetry, and 10GBs or so of above average quality music. I’m posting this from work.
This means that the Newman report isn’t coming, nor is anything else any time soon. This update is a warning. My apologies. If I get a chance to resume these updates, I will.
Later.

I can’t say I’m surprised, upon hearing about your computer’s demise.
That really sucks. I guess that’s all I have to say about that

Tsk tsk… backups, Tristan. I have your thesis, if you are having difficulty finding a copy.
And Bright Eyes, Muse and Mars Volta are “average quality”?? Don’t be so modest.
I have to say it… That really, really sucks. Spending years on your computer, getting everything you need…. having to start all over again.
From Fight Club: “I almost had it… I was almost … complete.”

Yeah, the backups were stolen too – removeable HD in the laptop case. A copy of that thesis might be nice actually.
Also, I believe I wrote, ‘above average’. The second ten GBs were only average.

Whoops, right, “above average,” I need to learn to read again. Falsely accusing people is not a nice habit to have.
Still, backups… IN the laptop case? The one that goes wherever the laptop goes? Not a good place for backups. In case of the Worst Possible Scenario (i.e. nuclear war) try to keep backups in at least three different countries. The U.S.A., of course, does not count.
